P.S.1, MoMA’s contemporary art center, held a music series in the summer of 2007. Los Angeles-based architects Ball-Nogues was commissioned to create an outdoor environment called Liquid Sky to house the concert series on the roof of the building. Our friend Israel Kandarian curated a related poster series, and invited us to make a tabloid-sized poster to be stapled on Ball-Nogues telephone pole installation.
There was no brief for the poster; it could be about anything. We decided to make something that would represent that sweet time when a couple might be inclined to carve their names into a tree, a desk, or maybe a telephone pole…
Open edition of 25″ × 38″ posters silkscreened in cocoa (metallic brown) on archival quality acid-free stock. Also available in thistle.
Posters are shipped in sturdy mailing tubes via Priority Mail, both domestically and internationally. No refunds, returns, or exchanges. Please allow up to 3 weeks for delivery, (and up to 6 weeks for international orders.) Posters damaged in transit will be replaced. Not for resale. New York sales tax is included on all in-state domestic orders.
For deliveries outside the US you may be subject to your country’s import duties, taxes and/or customs fees. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may.
